Handouts, brochures, coupons and other information about local goods and services are distributed during the three hour event. 3. Support Your Troops Haunted House: A Haunted House is coming to Farmington in October. We will partner with Germaine and Grant Beyl and friends to expand on their annual event that was held by invitation only on their property for the past few years and open it up to the general public. This new event will take place at the Dakota County Grounds in the 4-H Building. Part of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to local area service men who have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, in the form of gift packages; the goal being to make a positive impact on the lives of them and their families. In addition, the Fallen Warriors Memorial (173rd Airborne, Vencenza, Italy - the Beyls' son's unit) will continue to be sponsored. Held annually during the second weekend in October.
